We offer psychiatric evaluations, Psychiatric consultations to psychiatry vs psychologist decisions, and medication management. Our Columbia-based team includes qualified mental health professionals ready to assist with both in-person and Telehealth psychiatric evaluation, follow-up, and medication management.​

Selam Tekie, PMHNP-BC, a certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Rass Psychiatry and Wellness Services in Columbia, Maryland. Selam offers holistic care for patients aged 6 and up through both in-person and telehealth psychiatry in Maryland. Specializing in mood disorders and medication management. Selam provides compassionate support for anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and more. Selam has been a clinician for over 12 years working in different settings and practices. Her nursing background has helped her provide care from a holistic point of view where while she is treating and promoting mental wellness, each patient is seen as a whole person and not just the mental aspect. Selam is a firm believer in integrating functional psychiatry with modern psychiatry. Fluent in English and Amharic, Selam uses a wellness-oriented, collaborative approach to care, offering mental health assessments, positive mental health quotes, and mental health check-in strategies.
